Vintage Handcuff Shoot
Getting together was liberating for us. We both struggled to share our kinks and fetishes with previous partners. So during the first years of our relationship we went berserk. Our collection of latex clothing and fetish gear expanded rapidly as we pretty much bought all the stuff we always wanted to try. This includes our collection of handcuffs, and at some point we got interested in the history of them. That brought us to the point that we wanted to source some iconic vintage handcuffs.

We got in touch with a well-known Dutch collector who was open to selling selected pieces in his collection. So one day I drove across the country to meet up with him. With me was our wish list of handcuffs we wanted to add to our collection. The following hours we went through endless bags of handcuffs dating back to mediaeval times. I always love to see people that are passionate about something and that are willing to share their knowledge. We had lengthy talks and left the negotiations for later as I returned home with a bunch of photos to share with Fetish Erotica.
I had done my homework a bit, and it didn’t take long to come to an agreement. The prices were very reasonable, so about a week later I went back to pick up the new additions to our handcuff collection. We plan on having these on display in our playroom at some point. The idea is to frame them individually or together with copies of the original patents. Our collection is getting somewhat out of hand now.

But back to the reason for this post. We didn’t just buy them for display purposes; we bought the vintage handcuffs to put them to use. And that’s exactly what we did a few weeks later. We set up the studio and got everything ready. The only worries were that the cuffs would fail on us considering their age. Some of these cuffs date back to the 1800s, which is quite amazing if you see how well they are made. If only we could see how each and every set was used in their history.
Luckily all went well, and we didn’t have to call the fire department in embarrassment. We got some great shots from this session, and that’s what we cherish. We found each other doing what we love the most, and we now continue our journey together by sharing snippets of our fetish life on our socials. While typing this I realise how shallow platforms like Instagram and X really are. Most people don’t take the time to read the voice that comes with the image. They just swipe away and like a thing or two along the way. But we take pride in what we do and the people we reach.
